1.Definitions
Rente Privacy Policy
1.1 The following words shall have the following definitions:
- Account
means an account you create and control within the App, whether it is a
Tenant Account or a Property Owner Account.
- "Application" or “App” means the application Rente.
- "Content"
means any and all content, photos, documentation, data and other
information on your Account or regarding a Listing or contained anywhere else on the
App.
- "GDPR"
means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council
of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of
personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC
(General Data Protection Regulation).
- "Landlord" or"Property Owner" means the owner of a Listing.
- "Listing"means a property listed on the App and all its Content.
- "Tenant"means the person who is desirous to rent a Listing.
- "User"means you or anyone who makes use of the Application.
2.WHO WE ARE

2.1. Rente (‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’) gather and process your personal
information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in compliance with the GDPR. This
policy provides you with the necessary information regarding your rights and our
obligations, and explains how, why and when we process your personal data.
- 2.2. Our registered office is at 92, George Borg Olivier Street, St. Julian’s, STJ08, Malta and we
are a company registered under the Laws of Malta having company registered number C
28601. We have a Designated Data Manager who can be contacted at "contact@rentrmobileapp.com"
3.INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

3.1.We process your personal information to meet our legal, statutory and contractual
obligations and to provide you with our services. We do not collect any unnecessary
personal data from you and do not process your information in any way, other than as
specified in this notice.

- 3.2.7. Copies of their Identity Card and/or Passport

- 3.2.9. Other official documents
- 3.3. The personal data of Tenants that we collect includes:
- 3.3.1. Name

- 3.3.5. Mobile Number
- 3.3.6. Gender
- 3.3.7. Profile picture
- 3.3.8. Other official documents.
1.3.4. The Application also allows for the collection of the following additional information to
enhance your User experience.
- 3.4.1. Your GPS location.
- 3.4.2. Your history of searches on the Application.
3.4.3. The using of appointments via calendar with any Tenant or Landlord or Property
Owner, as the case may be.
3.4.4. Listing’s details, including its plan/layout, its features and any other information
provided by the Landlord or Property Owner.
3.5 We collect the aforementioned information in the following manner.
- 3.5.1. Online form upon registration provided by the User himself.
- 3.5.2.Documents uploaded to the Service provided by the User himself.
- 3.5.3.Pictures uploaded to the Service provided by the User himself
- 3.5.4. Server logs
- 3.5.5. Information provided by our processors and their sub-processors, if any
4.USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
- We take your privacy very seriously and we do not disclose, share or sell your data
without your consent; unless required to do so by law. We only retain your data for as
long as is necessary and for the purpose(s) specified in this notice.
- In cases where you consented to us providing you with promotional offers and marketing,
you are free to withdraw this consent at any time.
- The purposes and reasons for processing your personal data are detailed below:
- 4.3.1.Provision of our services: We collect personal data which is necessary to provide
services. These services include logging into our platform, or facilitating
connection between yourself and other Users, or with other third-parties such as
by social media applications should you choose so
- 4.3.2.To manage our business needs: We carry out analysis to improve our service and
the relative performance and functionality
- 4.3.3.Marketing: We will occasionally send you marketing information where we have
assessed that it is beneficial to you as a customer and in our interests. Such
information will be non-intrusive and is processed on the grounds of legitimate
interests;
- 4.3.4.Communication with the User: We use the information to be able to reply to you
when you contact us and to communicate more information on our Service and
related products
- 4.3.5.Compliance: To comply with our obligations and to enforce the terms of our
Application, websites and services – this includes safety and security needs such
as verification of accounts or prevention against misconduct, whether we share
with law enforcement, government agencies, or otherwise.
- 4.3.6.Regulatory Obligations: We collect and store your personal data as part of our
legal obligation for business accounting.
- 4.3.7.Transfer of Information: We transfer some personal data to our processors, when
required, in order to provide our services.
- 4.3.8.Affiliates and Acquirors of our business or assets: We may share your information
with affiliates under common control with us, who are required to comply with
terms of confidentiality of information even with regards to your information. If
we become involved in a takeover, securities offering, bankruptcy, reorganization,
dissolution or similar transaction, we may share or transfer your information in
connection with such transaction.
- 4.3.9.You are allowed to not only cancel but also delete your account once contacting

account will then be
deleted through the admin panel no questions asked
5. YOUR RIGHTS
- 5.1You have the right to access any personal information that we process about you and to
request information about the type of personal data we hold about you, the purposes of
the processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the recipients to whom the
personal data has/will be disclosed, how long we intend to store your personal data for,
and, if we did not collect the data directly from you, information about the source.
- 5.2If you believe that we hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about you, you have the
right to ask us to correct and/or complete the information and we will strive to correct it
as quickly as possible; unless there is a valid reason for not doing so, at which point you
will be notified.
- 5.3You also have the right to request erasure of your personal data or to restrict processing
(where applicable) in accordance with the data protection laws; as well as to object to
any direct marketing from us; to exercise your data portability rights, and to be informed
about any automated decision-making we may use.
- 5.4If we receive a request from you to exercise any of the above rights, we may ask you to
verify your identity before acting on the request so as to ensure that your data is
protected and kept secure.
6.SHARING AND DISCLOSING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
- 6.1. do not share or disclose any of your personal information without your consent, other
than for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy, where there is a legal requirement
or where such is required to perform the services requested by you. Should we rely on
processors, all processors acting on our behalf are contractually bound to only process
your data in accordance with instructions from us and comply fully with the GDPR and
any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
7.SAFEGUARDING MEASURES

7.1 take your privacy seriously and take every reasonable measure and precaution to
protect and secure your personal data. We work hard to protect you and your
information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have
several layers of security measures in place.
8.TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EU
- 8.1 data in the European Union is protected by the GDPR but some other countries
may not necessarily have the same high standard of protection for your personal data.
Sometimes we may have to share your data with third party processors which are based
outside of the EU, however when we do so we will ensure that this is done under an
adequacy decision or under standard contractual clauses approved by the EU
Commission.
9.CONSEQUENCES OF NOT PROVIDING YOUR DATA
- 9.1. are not obligated to provide your personal information to us, however, as this
information is required to provide you with our services, we will not be able to offer
some/all our services without it.
10.HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
- 10.1 only ever retain personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict
review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. We keep your personal
data for a minimum of 5 years after which time it will be destroyed. Nonetheless, other
shorter or longer periods may apply, on the basis of documented policies and procedures
drafted on the basis of retaining personal information strictly as long as is necessary.
- 10.2 you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep
such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.
11.MARKETING
- 11.1Occasionally, we would like to contact you with regards to certain services or promotions
that we provide through notifications or by contacting you by other means, including but
not limited to, email, telephone and/or text message (SMS). If you consent to us using
your contact details for these purposes, you have the right to modify or withdraw your
consent at any time by using the opt-out/unsubscribe options or by contacting us directly.
12.LEGITIMATE INTERESTS
- 12.1 will occasionally contact you with regards to certain services or promotions that we
provide by [email/SMS/post] that have identified as being beneficial to our customers
and in our interests. Such information will be relevant to you as a customer and is non-intrusive and
you will always have the option to opt-out/unsubscribe at any time

13.LODGING A COMPLAINT
- 13.1.We only process your personal information in compliance with this privacy notice and in
accordance with the GDPR. If, however you wish to raise a complaint regarding the
processing of your personal data or are unsatisfied with how we have handled your
information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with ourselves so that we will try to
rectify any mishandling of your data or with the supervisory authority, should you
require.

14.Payments
We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we may use third party
services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).
We will not store or collect Your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Our
third-party payment processors whose use of Your personal information is governed by their
Privacy Policy.
15.Deletion of Account
As a subscriber you have the option to delete your account at any time along with all your personal details and properties.
CONSENT
Rente takes your privacy seriously and will only process your
personal data with your consent and in accordance with the terms stated in our Privacy Policy.
If you consent to us collecting and processing your personal data, please accept as follows
